Nicolo Fagioli on Barcelona radar?
Barcelona have reportedly expressed interest in the promising Juventus midfielder Nicolo Fagioli, according to Calciomercatoweb.
The Catalan giants are looking to acquire the Italian international, who began his youth career with Piacenza Calcio before moving to Cremonese, and has made significant progress since joining Juventus at the age of 14 in 2015.
The 22-year-old, who spent the previous season on loan at Cremonese, is having a breakthrough season at Juventus, having also made his debut for the Italian national team.
He has recorded two goals and three assists in 17 appearances for the Old Lady, drawing the attention of Barcelona.
The Blaugrana will need to find a long-term replacement for the ageing Sergio Busquets, as Kessie is likely to return to Milan in the summer. Daichi Kamada and Nicolo Fagioli have both caught the attention of Barcelona as potential midfield reinforcements.
Barcelona’s interest in Fagioli is not surprising, but the playmaker may not come cheap given that his contract with the Bianconeri expires in three years.
