Manchester United right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Atletico Madrid.

The 24-year-old defender has endured a torrid 2021-22 campaign with the Red Devils, having fallen out of favour, with Diogo Dalot preferred in Ralf Rangnick’s backline.

According to todofichajes, Los Rojiblancos have identified Wan-Bissaka as an ideal replacement for Sime Vrsaljko, who is set to leave the club when his contract expires in June.

The report goes on to claim that Atletico chief Andrea Berta has already held discussions with Man United over the availability of the Englishman and the Mancunian giants are open to striking a deal with the Spanish champions.

Wan-Bissaka has a contract at Old Trafford until June 2024.
