Juventus targeting Chelsea’s Emerson Palmieri
Juventus are reportedly hoping to try and sign Chelsea full-back Emerson Palmieri in the summer transfer window.
The Italy international joined Les Gones on loan last August and has been an integral part for the French outfit this season, contributing one goal and two assists from 30 appearances in all competitions.
He still has more than two years left on his contract at Stamford Bridge, but the defender is widely expected to leave the Blues in the upcoming market.
According to Calciomercato, the Bianconeri have been keeping close tabs on the 27-year-old ‘for several years’ and view him as the ideal addition at left-back for the club next season.
The report adds that Juve are planning to approach Chelsea in the coming weeks to discuss a possible summer move.
Emerson has made 71 appearances for Chelsea since arriving from Roma in 2018.
