Atletico Madrid have confirmed the signing of left-back Reinildo Mandava from Lille.

The 28-year-old defender became an integral part of Lille’s title-winning crop, having made 24 Ligue 1 appearances last term as Christophe Galtier’s team marched to the league crown.

However, Atletico Madrid have now confirmed that the Mozambican has joined the club on a three-and-a-half-year deal, keeping him at the La Liga champions until 2025.

Mandava leaves the Ligue 1 champions having registered one goal in 87 appearances in all competitions and follows Daniel Wass to the Wanda Metropolitano this month.
