Atletico Madrid are reportedly ready to resume their pursuit of Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette, La Razon claims.

The 30-year-old is expected to leave the Emirates when his deal runs out in the summer of 2022.

The France international has since been linked with moves to Manchester City and Barcelona, while Newcastle United are also said to be interested in his signature.

However, the aforementioned report claims that Los Rojiblancos have resurrected their interest in the Frenchman after they were heavily linked with a move over the summer.

The report goes on to claim that the Spanish champions have identified Lacazette as a potential summer signing.

Lacazette has chipped in with three goals in nine appearances for Atletico this season.
