Arsenal have allegedly earmarked Red Bull Salzburg attacker Karim Adeyemi as their top summer transfer targets.

The 19-year-old has scored 11 goals in 14 top-flight appearances for the Salzburg outfit so far this season, taking his tally to 25 goals alongside 17 assists in 73 matches.

Adeyemi’s performances have understandably attracted interest from other top European clubs, with the likes of Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain linked with an approach.

According to The Mirror, Arsenal allegedly interested in signing the Germany international but have been told they must wait until the summer.

Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette is set to leave the Emirates at the end of the season, with manager Mikel Arteta is believed to be seeking attacking reinforcements at North London and Adeyemi being eyed up as a prime target.

Adeyemi’s stellar club form throughout the 2020-21 season has earned him three caps for the senior German national team.
