Real Madrid are reportedly eyeing a move for Penarol youngster Agustin Alvarez next summer.

The 20-year-old forward has scored 27 goals and registered seven assists in 56 appearances for the Uruguayan outfit.

Alvarez’s existing deal with Penarol is due to expire in 2024, but it is understood that there is a €20m release clause in his agreement.

According to AS, Los Blancos have been alerted to the Uruguay international progress and will continue to keep an eye on his performances as they consider a move.

The report adds that Madrid could make an offer next summer if the South American enjoys another impressive campaign for Penarol.
