Juventus retain interest in Gabriel Jesus
Juventus remain interested in signing Manchester City winger Gabriel Jesus and could make a move for the 24-year-old attacker during the next summer’s transfer window.
The Brazil international was strongly linked with a move away from the Premier League champions earlier this summer.
Harry Kane’s arrival at the Etihad Stadium would have pushed Jesus down the pecking order, but the English champions were unable to complete a deal for the Tottenham Hotspur star.
It is understood, Jesus’s long-term future in Manchester is uncertain, though, with the Sky Blues expected to sign a high-profile frontman in 2022.
According to Calciomercato, Juventus are still interested in the Brazilian, who is contracted to Guardiola’s side until June 2023.
This is to remind you that the Italian giants have gained €52.332m from the Cristiano Ronaldo sale to Manchester United. The Portugal international, who is one of the currently best goal scorers in UCL, had signed a two-year contract with the Red Devils.
With almost €52.332m in hand, it would be easy for Bianconeri to launch a bid next year, although it is unlikely that they would be able to convince City to sell Jesus at the midway point of the campaign.
Jesus chipped in with one goal and three assists in four appearances for Manchester City this term.
