Manchester United have reportedly placed emphasis on signing Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic.

The 23-year-old has found it difficult to make his mark at the Bernabeu since his move from Eintracht Frankfurt in 2019.

The Serbia international has scored two goals in 32 games for the La Liga giants in all competitions, and it could be difficult for him to secure a regular spot next term due to Karim Benzema’s presence at the club.

According to Tribal Football, the Red Devils could yet make a move for a new frontman ahead of the new season, and Jovic has been identified as a potential target.

The report adds that United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer ‘rates’ the former Red Star Belgrade youngster, and his availability makes him an attractive proposition for the Mancunian giants.

Jovic is contracted to Real Madrid until 2025.
