Chelsea are reportedly ready to lock horns with Arsenal over the signature of Martin Odegaard from Real Madrid.

The Blues have made just one signing this summer in the form of Marcus Bettinelli.

Chelsea are expected to be busy this month, and Fichajes claims that they are interested in signing Odegaard.

The Norway international spent the end of last season on loan with the Gunners, contributing two goals and two assists in 20 appearances.

The North Londoners are keen on re-signing the 22-year-old midfielder, but Madrid have yet to make a decision regarding his future.

Odegaard, who has been a regular for the Spanish giants in pre-season, could cost around €50m.
