Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly “explored” the possibility of signing Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey this summer.

The 30-year-old still thought to be getting £400,000 per week with the Bianconeri and the Serie A giants are understood to have put him up for sale to balance the books.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Old Lady will do ‘whatever it takes’ to offload Ramsey before the new season kicks off, and Spurs director Fabio Paratici remains a keen admirer of the playmaker, who still has two years left to run on his contract in Italy.

The report goes on to claim that Juve are happy to cut their losses financially in order to part ways with the Welshman, who had been linked with a return to Arsenal.

Ramsey has made 65 appearances for Juventus over the past two seasons, contributing six goals and six assists during the process.
