Paris Saint-Germain defender Thilo Kehrer has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Arsenal.

The German international struggled for regular action in the 2020-21 campaign and now his future looks uncertain following the arrivals of Sergio Ramos and Achraf Hakimi.

Furthermore, Kehrer has a deal at PSG until the summer of 2023, the Ligue 1 giants may be open to a sale after his failure to nail down a regular starting role.

According to Foot Mercato, the Gunners are keeping a close eye on the situation, as the 24-year-old could come in as a central defender or a possible replacement for Hector Bellerin at the Emirates.

The report goes on to claim that Kehrer does want to remain in the French capital, but should he fail to convince Mauricio Pochettino, he could leave the PSG on loan for the rest of the 2021-22 season.

Kehrer made 33 appearances for the Parisians in all competitions last term.
