Chelsea are lining up a swoop for Monaco midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni as a potential summer transfer target.

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel currently has four centre forwards at his disposal, while Mason Mount has also been deployed in that area of the pitch on a regular basis.

According to Goal, the Blues could make a move for Tchouameni, who has established himself as a key man at Monaco.

The France U21 international has made 41 appearances in all competitions this season, helping the Ligue 1 outfit in contention for the title.

The report goes on to claim that Monaco would be prepared to accept a fee somewhere in the region of £34m for the 21-year-old playmaker, significantly higher than the £15.5m that they paid last year.
