Villarreal left-back Alfonso Pedraza has reportedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Chelsea.

Chelsea duo Marcos Alonso and Emerson Palmieri are expected to depart Stamford Bridge at the end of the season, potentially freeing up space in the first-team squad.

According to CaughtOffside, the Blues are keeping tabs on the Villarreal defender, who has a £35m release clause in his contract.

The 25-year-old, who is also being wanted by Barcelona and Inter Milan – has made 38 appearances for the La Liga outfit in all competitions this season.

Pedraza’s impressive performances have seen him catch the eye of Brighton officials in the past, but it now looks like he could secure a move to Chelsea.
