Liverpool are mulling over a summer move for Real Madrid centre-back Nacho.

The 31-year-old has enjoyed an impressive 2020-21 campaign for Los Blancos, making 20 appearances in all competitions.

Nacho has a contract in Madrid until the summer of 2022, though, and there is currently speculation surrounding his future at the Bernabeu.

According to AS, the Spain international wants to remain with the La Liga champions, while manager Zinedine Zidane is also keen to keep him in the capital.

However, the report adds that the defending Premier League champions are tracking the centre-back with the view to potentially making a move at the end of the season.

Juventus and AS Roma have also expressed an interest in a player who has won two La Liga and four Champions League title.
