Leeds United have reportedly “explored” the possibility of signing Manchester City teenager Joshua Wilson-Esbrand, according to The Daily Mail.

The Whites are interested in signing the 18-year-old starlet before the close of this month’s transfer window.

The report goes on to claim that the Yorkshire outfit are also interested in Luke Mbete but Marcelo Bielsa’s side could face competition from the Italian champions Juventus for the 17-year-old defender.

City will be reluctant to lose some of their most promising prospects and see them blossom into highly-rated players like Jadon Sancho has managed to do at Borussia Dortmund.
