Tottenham Hotspur hopeful of signing Joe Rodon from Swansea City
Tottenham Hotspur are hoping to solve their issues on the centre-half by signing Swansea City defender Joe Rodon before the domestic deadline on October 16.
Spurs saw a bid for the Welshman rejected on international deadline day, but still have until the EFL deadline on October 16 to come to terms with the Swans over a deal.
The Championship outfit are thought to want in excess of £15m for the 22-year-old defender, and The Telegraph claims that both sides have made a breakthrough in negotiations.
The Premier League giants are reportedly willing to secure the deal in many different ways, including a cash-only option, a player-plus-cash approach or an agreement which would see the centre-back loaned back to the Liberty Stadium.
The Lilywhites have until 5 pm on Friday to seal a deal for the Wales international.
