Manchester United keen on Chelsea target Jan Oblak?
Manchester United are reportedly keen to edge out Chelsea in the race to sign Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak during this summer’s transfer window.
The Blues have allegedly identified the Slovenian as the ideal replacement for Kepa Arrizabalaga, with the club expected to move for a new shot-stopper ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.
Man United, meanwhile, could also be in the market for a new gloveman due to David de Gea’s struggles at Old Trafford, coupled with the uncertain future surrounding Dean Henderson.
According to The Daily Mail, United and Chelsea will reportedly go head to head for the 27-year-old stopper, although Los Rojiblancos will not let him leave on the cheap and likely to demand the full €120m release clause.
Oblak will see his contract at the Wanda Metropolitano expire at the end of 2022-23 season.
