Real Madrid are reportedly prepared to up their efforts to secure a deal for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba, according to Don Balon.

The France international, who has been strongly linked with a move away from Old Trafford in recent months, has made seven appearances for the Red Devils this season.

Real Madrid head-coach Zinedine Zidane believes that the 26-year-old attacker would slot right into the club’s midfield, and hopes that the Frenchman will end up forcing a departure from Man United.

However, Man United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer revealed earlier this week that he still expects Pogba to be among the ranks at Old Trafford next season.

Pogba has scored 31 times in 143 appearances in all competitions for Manchester United.
