Man United interested in signing Gareth Bale on a free transfer
Manchester United are reportedly planning a summer move for Real Madrid attacker Gareth Bale on a free transfer.
The Wales international will see his contract at the Bernabeu until at the end of 2021-22 season, but Los Blancos would allegedly be open to the idea of allowing him to leave on a free transfer.
The 30-year-old attacker is out of favour under Zinedine Zidane, and it is being reported that the veteran’s substantial wages could see the La Liga giants cut their losses this summer and waive any transfer fee.
According to Sport via Marca, Manchester United are keeping a close eye on the player’s situation and would be willing to sign the attacker on a free transfer at the end of the season.
Bale has netted 105 goals in all competitions for Madrid.
