Liverpool have emerged as rumoured suitors for Anderlecht forward Jeremy Doku, with the Premier League leaders keen to sign the starlet in the summer of 2021.

The 17-year-old striker has contributed three goals and four assists in the Jupiler Pro League this term, caught the attention of Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp.

According to Het Nieuwsblad, Doku plans to stay with the Belgian outfit until the end of next season – and the Merseyside outfit are the frontrunners to sign the teenager once he departs.

The Reds are reportedly hoping that Doku will become Sadio Mane’s successor, with rumours circulating the Senegalese’s future at Anfield.

Liverpool are on the verge of winning a first league Premier League title since 1990, having won 27 of their 29 matches.
