Barcelona have reportedly joined the list of clubs wanting to sign Manchester United youngster Angel Gomes, according to The Daily Mail.

The 19-year-old is highly-regarded at Old Trafford, however, the prospect is currently against extending his contract past the end of the season.

Gomes’s stance comes because of just three starts and five substitute appearances for the Red Devils since breaking into the senior setup.

The aforementioned report claims, Barcelona are closely monitoring the situation, aware that they can speak to the England Under-20 international at the beginning of 2020.

In recent weeks, it has been claimed that the Catalan giants may have to sell before they can make high-profile signings, potentially making Gomes as an attractive option for the second half of the season.

The teenager is likely to attract interest from other European clubs over the coming weeks.
