Wolverhampton Wanderers enter race for Real Madrid attacker James Rodriguez
Wolverhampton Wanderers have reportedly stepped up their interest in signing Real Madrid attacker James Rodriguez, according to El Desmarque.
The Midlands outfit have joined Juventus, Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur in the race for the Colombia international, who is still somewhat out-of-favour at the Spanish capital.
The 28-year-old midfielder will see his current deal at the Bernabeu expire in June 2021.
The report says super-agent Jorge Mende has opened the door to a sensational Molineux move for his client, James Rodriguez.
However, the proposed move will apparently only possible if Ruben Neves goes to Real Madrid.
Rodriguez has scored 37 goals in 120 appearances for Los Blancos since joining the club in 2014 from Monaco.
