Real Madrid reignite Jadon Sancho pursuit
Real Madrid have reportedly stepped up their interest in to sign Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jadon Sancho.
Los Blancos were in the race to sign the 19-year-old winger when it became clear that he would leave Manchester City in 2017, only for Dortmund to beat them to his signature.
Now the Daily Mail claims that Zinedine Zidane’s side are looking for another highly-rated midfielder to bolster their attacking options and that Sancho is at the top of their prime targets.
The England international, who contributed four goals and seven assists in 14 appearances for the German club this season, is valued at £100m by BVB.
Real Madrid’s interest will be a headache for Manchester United, who have constantly expressed their admiration for the Dortmund star but are unlikely to be as attractive if they miss out of Champions League football one more time.
Sancho has established himself as one of Europe’s highly-rated young talents since joining the Bundesliga club from Man City in 2017.
