Real Madrid want PSG defender Marquinhos?
Real Madrid head coach Zinedine Zidane ramped up his interest in signing Paris Saint-Germain centre-back Marquinhos.
Don Balon reports that the 25-year-old defender is one of Zidane’s prime targets, with the Frenchman watching hours of tape to assess Marquinhos’s capabilities.
The report suggests that a deal would cost Los Blancos a minimum of €50m, the Parisians would be reticent to sell because they believe the Brazilian is on the verge of his powers as a player.
Since moving to the French capital in 2013, Marquinhos has found the back of the net on 20 occasions for the Ligue 1 champions and racked up more than 231 appearances across all competitions.
