Arsenal interested in Torino defender Armando Izzo?
Arsenal boss Unai Emery has identified Torino centre-back Armando Izzo as a potential summer signing.
The Gunners will reportedly meet with the agent of Izzo over the next couple of days to discuss a potential swoop for the 27-year-old in this summer’s transfer window.
The Italy international, who signed from Genoa in last summer – has found the back of the net on four occasions and provided one assist in 39 appearances for Toro during the 2018-19 campaign.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, Arsenal are due to hold talks with the Italian’s agent in London over the next couple of days.
However, the report suggests that the Serie A outfit are desperate to keep hold of Izzo and would demand a hefty fee ahead of the 2019-20 campaign.
Arsenal reportedly only have a £40m budget in this summer’s transfer window after missing out on Champions League qualification.
