Liverpool have reportedly outlined their intentions to move for Bayer Leverkusen winger Julian Brandt, according to The Mirror.

The Germany international, who reportedly has a release clause of €25m, although the winger insists that he is only focusing on continuing his career at BayArena.

However, the aforementioned report suggests, Liverpool remain confident that they will be able to secure the player’s signature.

The report adds that any transfer could depend on whether the German outfit qualifies for the Champions League, with Leverkusen requiring a positive result from their final game of the campaign.

Brandt has scored six goals and provided 11 assists from 32 outings in Germany’s top flight this term.
