Juventus have reportedly stepped up their interest in signing Real Madrid midfielder Marco Asensio this summer.

The 23-year-old has failed to build the promising start to his career with Los Blancos, with just two goals and two assists have come from 14 starts in La Liga and the Champions League this season.

The Spain international still has over four years remaining on his existing contract but according to Tuttosport, that has not stopped the Italian champions Juventus holding an interest in the attacking midfielder.

The Old Lady have continued to dominate in Serie A this term and interested in to strengthen the squad ahead of next season.

Asensio joined Madrid from Mallorca in 2014 and has since gone on to score 26 goals in 124 appearances for the Spanish giants.
