Arsenal have reportedly “explored” the possibility of signing 19-year-old Brazilian wonder-kid Antony this summer.

The youngster currently plays for Sao Paulo, where he broke into the first team towards the end of last year and has impressed both domestically and in the Copa Libertadores.

According to Goal.com, Arsenal and Ajax are both monitoring the progress of the Brazilian ahead of a possible move when the summer transfer window opens.

However, the Brazilian club will not listen to any bids below €30m for the teenager they regard as one of their brightest prospects.

Antony only recently penned a new contract with Sao Paulo, keeping him tied until 2023.
