Real Madrid have reportedly outlined their intentions to move for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Julian Weigl, according to Don Balon.

The Germany international is one of Bundesliga’ most promising young talents, but he will not come cheap if elite clubs decide to make a move for the playmaker.

Dortmund are keen to keep hold of the 22-year-old but could be resigned to losing him if Los Blancos put their full efforts behind a transfer bid before the transfer window shuts down on August 31.

If the deal goes through, Weigl would be a great addition by Real, as the midfielder has shown impressive performances during his time with the German outfit that he has what it takes to cut it in one of the world’s biggest leagues.
