CSKA Moscow’s Aleksandr Golovin on Chelsea radar
The Premier League giants Chelsea are reportedly in talks with CSKA Moscow over a potential deal to sign Aleksandr Golovin this summer, according to The Daily Mail.
The Blues have made contact with the Russia international’s representatives to discuss terms as the west London outfit look to improve their attacking options ahead of next season.
The report adds that CSKA Moscow are demanding around £25m for the 22-year-old midfielder following his impressive performances at the World Cup this summer. He has scored one goal and provided two assists in three group-stage appearances to guide the hosts reach the knockout stage on home soil.
Golovin is also attracting interest from a number of top European clubs such as Serie A champions Juventus.
Chelsea are in turmoil with Antonio Conte future at the west London side remain uncertain. The Premier League giants have been heavily linked with a move to appoint former Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri as Conte’s replacement.
Chelsea finished in fifth place in the Premier League table last season to leave the club without Champions League football in the upcoming season.
