Liverpool are lining up a swoop for Real Madrid midfielder Isco, according to Spanish outlet Diario Gol.

The Reds could be set to make a move to try and sign the Spaniard from Los Blancos this summer.

The Merseyside giants could be set to take advantage of Isco’s situation at Bernabéu and look to lure him to Anfield this summer.

The report adds that Madrid talisman Cristiano Ronaldo has held talks with the club president Florentino Perez in recent days and has urged the La Liga giants to cash in on Isco.

Anfield could be a possible destination for the 25-year-old attacker as Jurgen Klopp’s side search for a long-term replacement for Philippe Coutinho, who leave for Barcelona last month.

Liverpool did spend massively on signing in Virgil van Dijk from Southampton last month, but Klopp will surely be looking to further strengthen his squad ahead of next season.
