Arsenal step up interest in RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner
The Premier League giants Arsenal have become the latest club to show an interest in £50m-rated RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner, according to The Sun.
The 21-year-old striker, who scored 16 goals in 29 appearances this season, has already been linked with Premier League heavyweights with the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool.
The report suggests that the Gunners are now ready to make a move for the Germany international, who has refused an offer of a new deal at Bundesliga outfit.
The north Londoners are said to have sent scouts to watch Werner in action, where the German scores in the 1-1 Europa League draw with Napoli on Thursday evening.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid have also been reported as possible destinations for the frontman, but The Bulls remain determined to keep hold of him.
