Report: Barcelona interested in Roma goalkeeper Alisson Becker
Roma goalkeeper Alisson Becker has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for the La Liga giants Barcelona.
The-25-year-old stopper, who made 25 appearances in all competitions for the Italian outfit during the 2017-18 campaign, believed to have attracted the attention of Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp.
However, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, Blaugrana are also considering a move for the Brazil international as they look to provide competition for club’s number one Marc-Andre ter Stegen.
Jasper Cillessen is currently Barca’s second choice keeper between the sticks, although the Dutchman is said to be interested in leaving Camp Nou in search of regular football.
Alisson has conceded only 18 goals and kept 12 clean sheets in all competitions, While the South American has been at the Catalan giants since 2016, he got his chance after on-loan former Arsenal keeper Wojciech Szczęsny left to join the Serie A champions Juventus in the summer.
