Man United want to make January move for Juventus left-back Alex Sandro
Manchester United have reportedly expressed an interest in making an audacious move for Juventus defender Alex Sandro in the January transfer window, according to the Daily Mirror.
The Red Devils have been given the green signal to make a whopping £60m move to lure the Brazil international to the Old Trafford next month.
The report adds that the defending Premier League champions Chelsea had a £65m bid for Sandro turned down in the summer but United are now in the pole position, and the Italian champions are ready to cut their losses and cash-in this New Year.
United and the Blues remain as the two clubs interested in signing the 26-year-old defender when the mid-season transfer window opens in January.
Sandro has been in excellent form for the Old Lady so far this season, scoring once and assisting three times in 10 Serie A appearances for the Italian giants.
It remains to be seen whether the 20-time English champions will indeed win the race for Sandro’s services ahead of January transfer window.
