Fenerbahce plotting January swoop for Everton midfielder?
Fenerbahce have reportedly interested in signing Everton midfielder Davy Klaassen in the January transfer window, according to Fotomac.
Earlier this year, Klaassen signed a five-year contract at Goodison Park after The Toffees paid Ajax a fee of £24million for the player’s signature, but the 24-year-old has struggled to make an impact at the Merseyside outfit.
He has featured for just 190 minutes in the Premier League and the recent report suggests the Turkish giants are looking to take advantage of the Dutchman’s situation on Merseyside.
Everton’s newly appointed manager Sam Allardyce may give Klaassen a chance to make an impact over the Christmas and New Year period, but Fenerbahce could make a loan move in order to sign the player on a temporary basis.
The Turkish side have also been linked with a move for Everton forward Oumar Niasse, who has only made three starts this season.
