The Frenchman, who attracted plenty of attentions from elite clubs after scoring 26 goals in all competitions for the Ligue 1 champions, has opted to remain in France.
According to ESPN, the permanent move is likely to cost PSG £165.9m plus add-ons.
Mbappe will now be joining an attacking lineup alongside Brazilian ace Neymar.
