Real Madrid join race for Ousmane Dembele’s signature
Barcelona’s approach to replace Neymar seems not proving to be an easy task, and now, Catalan broadcaster RAC 1 claims, Real Madrid are considering to be adding to their rivals’ issue by registering an interest in Borussia Dortmund midfielder Ousmane Dembele.
The France international was suspended and fined by the Bundesliga outfit after failing to report for training amid speculation that he wants to join the La Liga giants Barcelona.
It is suggested that Camp Nou remain Dembele’s preferred move, but the Madrid president Florentino Perez wants to bring in the 20-year-old attacker before anything else.
Madrid-based AS claims that Barca will launch a new improved offer for Dembele closer to Dortmund’s asking price of £110 million in an effort to get the Frenchman’s signature.
Dembele joined Dortmund for a reported £13m from Rennes last season. He scored six goals and registered 12 assists – that makes him one of the hottest talents in Europe.
