West Indies squad for India Tests
West Indies have replaced Denesh Ramdin with the Wicketkeeper-batsman Shane Dowrich in their 12-man squad for the four-Test series against India, starting next Thursday.
Ramdin, 31, had been dropped because the selectors were not impressed with his batting average, having scored 2,898 Test runs at an average of 25.87.
“New chairman says my average isn’t good,” The right-handed wicketkeeper-batsman tweeted, referring to the chairman Courtney Browne.
