Arsenal to raid £35m Lacazette bid
Arsenal are reportedly have identified Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette as their major summer target.
The Gunners are ready to launch an improved £35 million bid for the 25-year-old Frenchman, according to The Daily Telegraph.
The north Londoners are reportedly have already had a £29.3m offer rejected by the Ligue1 outfit but now Arsene Wenger seems keen to make a fresh move in order to add a proven goal scorer to his ranks.
Arsenal are hoping to reshape the central defence after Per Mertesacker was sidelines until 2017 with a knee injury. The Premier League giants have been scouting new defenders, including Shkodran Mustafi, Kalidou Koulibaly and Kostas Manolas.
Lacazette has spent his entire senior career with Lyon, scoring 92 goals in 230 appearances.
