Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino had been on the lookout for a new striker in order to bolster his attacking options with last weekend’s opening-day Premier League defeat to Manchester United and Friday’s sale of Roberto Soldado to Villarreal, leaving Harry Kane as the only senior player in the north London club.
The 22-year-old becomes the Spurs’ fourth summer recruit, after the arrival of Kevin Wimmer, Kieran Trippier and Toby Alderweireld.
Njie has played 33 times for the Ligue 1 outfit last season, scoring eight goals and helped Les Gones to a second placed finish in French league.
