Australia’s James Faulkner given 4-match ban after drink-driving episode
The Australian James Faulkner, who was awarded with the man of the match in the World Cup final has been banned from four One-Day-International’s match after being charged with drink-driving in the United Kingdom earlier this month.
The 25-year-old, who was charged by Greater Manchester Police after being caught in Drunken Driving incident – will miss country’s upcoming ODI series of the UK and Ireland.
The all-rounder crashed his car after having a drink in Manchester with his Tasmania teammate Tim Paine.

Faulkner was charged under Cricket Australia’s code of conduct with a level three offence and was only given a four-match suspension, however CA officially banned the player from entire series that follows the Ashes.
