The former Proteas batsman Jacques Rudolph will no longer play in domestic cricket to his local franchise, The Unlimited Titans following his 17 years of career, the left-handed batsman announced his retirement on Instagram.

Rudolph, who has played 48 Tests for his country, is currently playing in county cricket for Glamorgan as a captain.

The 33-year-old has scored 329 runs at an average of 47 in the domestic limited-over campaign.

Rudolph has played 45 ODIs‚ scoring 1‚174 runs‚ and a single Twenty20 International.

The end of a great chapter in South African Cricket. Thanks to everyone who made it possible for me to play the game I love. It was a privilege and honour to represent the Proteas and the Unlimited Titans. Im thankful for all the memories, opportunities and lessons learned.
