The England international, who joined the club in 2012 after a spell with Scarlets, has 27 caps for the national side.
Morgan, 25, has been in excellent form for the Cherry-and-Whites despite a disappointing start to the Aviva Premiership season. He already made nearly 50 first team appearances for the club.
Morgan took twitter to express his thoughts after extending his contract at Kingsholm.
Thanks for the messages, I’m really pleased to be staying with glos! #cherryandwhite #glawsfamily
