Darren Sammy signs with Hobart Hurricanes
West Indies Twenty20 skipper, Darren Sammy has signed a two-year contract with the Hobart Hurricanes for the Big Bash League, starting later this year in Australia.

The 30-year-old allrounder, who has played 38 Tests, 111 ODI’s and 54 Twenty20 internationals for his country – will be available for the first six games of the tournament before joining West Indies squad for the 2015 ICC World Cup to be held in AUS and NZ.
Sammy becomes the second international signings for the Hurricanes in 2014-15 following the arrival of England’s Alex Hales.
The Hurricanes will play their first game against Melbourne Stars on December 20.
