Chelsea are closely monitoring the rise of Juventus centre-back Daniele Rugani, according to The Daily Mirror.
The Blues are keeping close tabs on the Italy international despite Antonio Conte’s uncertain future at Stamford Bridge.
The west London outfit are interested in a potential deal to sign Rugani to improve their defence options ahead of the new season.
The report goes on to claims that Chelsea have added the Juventus ace to their transfer wishlist but the Serie A champions will demand somewhere in the region of £26m for the Italian starlet.
Rugani, who moved to Turin during Conte’s stint in charge of Juve in 2013, has won three Serie A titles and three Coppa Italia during his three seasons in the senior squad so far.
