Arsenal and Chelsea have reportedly stepped up their interest in a summer move for Atalanta BC midfielder Bryan Cristante.
Sky Sports News reports that the 23-year-old is keen on a move to Premier League, which is understood to have piqued the interest of Arsenal and Chelsea.
The midfielder has impressed with the Serie A outfit this season are understood to have drawn the attention of a number of elite clubs, with the Italy international having scored 12 goals in 45 appearances across all competitions.
Cristante’s representatives reportedly met with Premier League clubs in the UK earlier this week to discuss a potential move, although teams in Italy and Germany are also credited with an interest in the playmaker.
The Premier League duo Arsenal and Chelsea could face competition from Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund for Cristante’s signature, while there is also interest from Serie A’s top sides.
