Liverpool plot move to re-sign former forward

Liverpool are reportedly planning a summer move to re-sign Suso from AC Milan, according to Italian outlet Calciomercato, as cited by the Daily Mirror.

The Merseyside giants are pondering a “sensational” move to try and bring the Spain international back to Anfield from the Serie A giants.

The report adds that the 24-year-old winger has a €40m release clause in his current contract and the Reds could be ready to take advantage in the summer transfer window.

The attacking midfielder has been in impressive form for Rossoneri since joining the Italian outfit from Liverpool back in 2015.

He has scored six goals and provided four assists in 24 Serie A games so far this season, and he could be set to feature in the Europa League last 16 when they face Arsenal on Thursday night.

Liverpool are said to be on the lookout for attacking reinforcements ahead of next season after the club sold Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona in January.
