Report – Manchester United keen on Real Madrid attacker

Manchester United head-coach Jose Mourinho ramped up his interest in to bring Isco to Old Trafford from Real Madrid this summer, according to the Spanish outlet Don Balon, as quoted by the Daily Star.

The Portuguese boss is keen to add to their attacking options by signing the 25-year-old midfielder from Los Blancos in the summer transfer window.

The Red Devils have already secured the services of Alexis Sanchez last month and the report suggests Mourinho is still hopeful of making a move for the Spain international as he gets his plans ahead of the next season.

The report adds, Mourinho wants to bring Isco to the Premier League ahead of arch-rivals Manchester City, who are thought to be the number one contenders to sign the Spaniard.

However, City’s proposed signing of Fred from Shakhtar Donetsk appears that they drop their interest in Isco.

The 20-time English champions have already spent massive on a couple of attackers at Old Trafford back in May 2016 with the likes of Sanchez, Romelu Lukaku and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

United are currently in the second spot in the Premier League standings as they look to try and get as close to league leaders Manchester City in the table as possible.
