Chelsea leading race to sign Robert Lewandowski?

Chelsea are reportedly leading the race for the signature of Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski, should the Poland skipper decide to leave Allianz Arena in the summer.

The 29-year-old forward, who has played in the German football since 2010 with Borussia Dortmund and currently Bundesliga champions, is allegedly keen on adding the Premier League trophy under his belt.

The Sun claims that the Premier League champions Chelsea would be joined by Manchester City, Manchester United and Liverpool in vying for his signature if the striker decided on a move to England.

The repot adds that Lewandowski would be attracted to the timeline of Manchester United, while also interested by the prospect of working with either Pep Guardiola or Jurgen Klopp again.

Lewandowski has scored 20 goals in as many Bundesliga starts for the Bavarians this term, is currently under contract until 2021.
